The КТПЖО Complete Transformer Substations with rated power 2.5; 4 and 10 kV∙А are single-phase single-transformer substations for outdoor installation. They are assigned for single-phase AC electric power receiving with 50 Hz frequency and voltage 27.5 kV, for transforming it into voltage 0,23 kV and for supplying railway station linear consumers, crossing points, flag (roadside) stations, crossings, line-track buildings in regions with temporary climate (from -40С to +40С).

The КТПЖ type Complete Transformer Substations with rated power 25, 40, 63, 100, 160, 250, 400, 630, 1000 kV∙А are outdoor single-transformer substations, supplied by ДПР system (Two Wire-Rails) and are intended for reception of three-phase electric power with frequency 50 Hz, voltage 27.5 kV, conversion it into electric power with voltage 0.4 kV and supplying railway stations track consumers, crossroads, stopping posts, crossings, linear-track buildings in regions with temporary climate (from -40С to +40С).
